Lumae @ August Round of Genre

It’s September and the current round of Genre is half way complete. If you didn’t know, the theme for this round is burlesque! Ooh-la la!

Lumae adds to its Eirtae line with the addition of a new makeup called Showgirl. How deliciously pretty!

Blonde Bombshell

Released just for Genre, Showgirl comes in four tones only. I am wearing Showgirl in Nutmeg (tone  7). This is the darkest skin tone available at this event.

Each tone is 100L and includes system skin options as well as appliers for your mesh heads, bodies, mouths and ears. To find a list of the enhancements that Lumae supports, visit the website.

Genre ends on 9/12, so another week or so to get this skin at a reduced price!

Only a few days remain to get your hands on the goods at Collabor88! It’s the birthday round and it’s a “summer soiree” theme filled with lots of returning and guest designers.

No one wants to go to a party looking like everyone else. You want to stand out in a crowd! Wearing a basic “black dress” — like the one shown below– offers you a great blank canvas and allows you to go in many fashion directions.

This whole look centers around the Lon Dress from Spirit. This one-piece dress, done in black leather, is compatible with Slink Physique and Hourglass, as well as Maitreya. It’s a fun dress without being “overly” festive.

Party Girl

Now here’s where things get interesting! To break from tradition, try adding some funky and unexpected hardware. Like this Greta Jewelry Set from Meva. The set comes with a collar, earrings, rings and bangles. I went with silver but it also comes in two other tones.

Party Up!

No outfit is complete without shoes. The Jozini Booties from Hucci are perfect for this look! Jozini is a suede and leather bootie with gold and/or black butterfly detailing on the back. Four sole color options are also included. The bootie is compatible with Slink, Maitreya and Belleza.

All done! I am stylishly ready to hit the soiree. Opps, there is one last thing I forgot. I’ve got to get a gift!
