If you have been out on the grid, shopping and event hopping, then you have come across several new styles from Vanity Hair. Tabata has been keeping extra busy this month, with new styles in most major events. I don’t know how she does it. But yes please, I am here for it! Let’s take a look into the wig wizardry of Tabata Jewell and her highly stylized brand, Vanity Hair!

Cocktails is now available at Tres Chic. It’s a modern twist on a very classic, up-do style. I am wearing the Frizz color pack, which was introduced at Hair Fair.

Next up is my new favorite, a mid-length style called Garota. It’s a fun, easy style to wear and goes with just about everything! Available at Hairology through August 30.

Last up is a main store release (HOORAY!) called Twin Picks. While I adore this style, sadly, I have way too much boob for it to work successfully with my avatar. Good thing about this style, you won’t have to rush to any event to get it!

Genre Travels Back to Belle Epoque

This month, Genre is tackling the theme: Belle Epoque. Several of my favorites designers are participating. Let’s see what Lumae and Fission have created!

Lumae is offering a special makeup called Cheri in the Eirtae line of skins. According to Lumae, “Cheri is based on the make up worn by the character of Leia from the movie, also called Cheri, which was adapted from the novel of the same name by the French author Colette, which is set during the Belle Epoque.” She is only available in tone 4-Fawn and is specially priced at 100L for this event.

As usual with all Lumae skins, multiple head and body appliers are included with the skin; so no separate purchases! Also included are the Lumae Leevi Elf Ears in three  sizes to match the skin tone and appliers for Soul Mesh Ears and Bentbox Sylvan Ears.

Genre Goes Belle Epoque

Fission has interpreted the Belle Epoque theme through their Lily Gown. The gown comes in standard mesh sizing and is available in four colors. I am wearing the XL, so as you can tell the “cut” seems to run on the smaller side. Keep that in mind and of course, try demos before buying. Only 80L during Genre.

The current round of Genre is coming to a close this week. If you have not visited this event, don’t wait another minute!

This month’s theme is urban and Hucci has a sexy jumpsuit that clings to every curve! The Tabas Jumpsuit is a great piece worn alone, but can also be layered under vests, jackets and coats. The jumpsuit is applier compatible (Slink/Omega/Lara) and also comes on classic layers. Tabas is available in eight colors, only 95L each. Or you can grab the entire collection for only 495L.

Genre is underway and the theme this round is urban. Fission is taking part with some great mix and match fashions. Let’s have a look!

The Fiona hoodie comes in standard mesh sizing, along with SLink fit (which I am wearing) and a fitted version. Four colors and sayings available. The Emma sweat pants are a drop-crotch pant available in standard mesh sizes only. Four patterns available including punk (shown above), camo, space and leopard.

Both items are regularly priced at 69L each but are discounted 20 percent for this event.

Genre runs through Nov. 12. Plenty of time to check out the happenings.
