LaVian & Co. is participating in this event and offering up the fun and flirty, Black Dahlia. The dress comes in standard sizing as well as fitted mesh for Maitreya Lara and Slink (Hourglass and Physique). Three color/design packs are available at 199L. Each pack has the LaVian HUD which contains 32 Pantone colors and 24 patterns. Of course, mixing and matching is part of the fun when you own a LaVian creation. So let your imagination run wild!Untitled...

Silly Games | Vanity Hair

For my last Hair Fair ’16 post, I present the final style from Vanity Hair called Silly Games. Now for some, Second Life might be a silly game. But we know better. Our buying power (as consumers) and creative power (as designers) can come together with fantastic results. Hair Fair, as a long-standing, highly anticipated event, is proof!

This style is a partial up-do with a soft sweeping wisp that frames the face. The bun is surrounded by a pretty, delicate braid. Definitely for the romantic in you or those special occasions that call for the “perfect” hair style.

Don’t forget. Today is Bandana Day. Read my previous post about special meaning of this day and view a few of my favorite bandanas.

Each year at Hair Fair, Second Life residents come together under the same roof for Bandana Day.  Traditionally held on the last day of Hair Fair, Bandana Day is the one time you can remove your hair and show you care as you support Wigs for Kids. Below, I am sharing a few of my favorites from this year’s event.

The bandanas are 50L each. They are transferable, so you can buy for friends, alts and complete strangers! Over the years, the banadas have become highly anticipated and are considered collectibles. They are only sold during Hair Fair and can’t be found anywhere on the grid once the event is over!

The bandanas range from high fashion, to practical, to whimsical, to silly. But they are all designed to help raise awareness and support Wigs For Kids through your donations. Remember, 100 percent of bandana sales go directly to this worthwhile charity. Many creators included NC that have stories, personal testimonials, etc. which makes them even more special to own and wear.

Bandana booths are repeated over each sim– one booth per sim– and each booth has the same ones. Be sure to check out the booths and collect your favorites. Hurry, Hair Fair ends July 31!
